Description: A Compassionate Communication© basic skills retreat, deepening into personal transformation. Liv Monroe will customize this retreat to your needs with hands-on skill practice, fun, and a heart connected approach which could profoundly change the way you experience life. Barack Obama says, "Empathy strikes me as the most important quality that we need in America and around the world.” This workshop will focus on enhancing the quality of connection and empathy in all of your relationships (including your relationship with yourself) by integrating the practical tools of Nonviolent Communication© (NVC©). Imagine living closer to your authentic self on a daily basis! Being able to stay present and empathically connected to someone’s heart even in painful or difficult moments! Join us to experience Compassionate Communication in a deeply meaningful and transforming way. Melanie Sears may accompany Liv again this year, to be finalized soon.

Who and Preparation Request: Up to 18 participants. Beginners to advanced NVC learners are welcome. I request that you at least read Marshall Rosenberg’s book, Nonviolent Communication, and attend an introductory workshop or practice group before coming to this training.

Self Investment: $225 for the workshop. Accommodations range
from $337 for a shared room with a bath to $176 for a site to put your tent. This includes 3 nights lodging, 9 delicious vegetarian meals, and use of the beautiful grounds by a raging river and all hot pools and tubs. Check out www.breitenbush.com.
